You know, what if I had taken that job?

What if I had broken up with that person sooner?

What if my parents had never met?

Would things be better?

Would I have been happier?

Well, in today's story, we get to witness people working through the realities of parallel

world, the logistics of existing on the same planet as a different version of yourself.

Possibilities.

Or perhaps the lack thereof.

This story is by the author Timothy Mutie, who resides in Greater Boston.

He is a book editor and is also the author of short fiction that's been published widely
