I'm Pete, joined as always by Mike. Darius is out again. And because of that, we're going to have a little bit of a different pod.

We've got a few different topics, basketball related, where we really

want to get into, but we want Darius to be here for as many of those as can be. And so in the

absence of that, I'm really curious to know more about your story, Mike, about how you joined the

team. There are a lot of people that are listening to the show that are aspiring content

creators and hearing different people's journeys on the way to that I think is really informative

so just what was your path to get to this point well we can we can do that Pete but just don't

think you're off the hook because we will be bringing you and your path into this as well. But,

you know, I, the real, the shortened version of my stories that I always wanted to cover

sports. And so I started out probably like a lot of people when they were little thinking

that I was going to be a professional athlete. And so I played baseball, basketball, and soccer.

And I, you know, this is the level of, of, um, intellect that I had in the 80s and early 90s was, oh, look, John Stockton, that doesn't look that hard, right? What he's doing like when I was in like sixth grade, you know, sure. And I thinking, oh, I can, because I'm not going to be Michael Jordan. I'm not going to be 6-6 and all that.

So I thought for a while that was kind of my early path.
