This episode will hope to solve a mystery that has divided families for almost 30 years.

That mystery is, of course, whether or not diehard is, in fact, a Christmas movie.

Now, this wouldn't be much of a special if I just read things from a script, would it?

Thankfully, I was able to recruit some of my fellow true crime and mystery podcast hosts

to weigh in with their thoughts. Hopefully, by the end of this episode, we will have reached

a definitive conclusion to this decades-long mystery. Before we get started, I should say that

those of you who have not seen diehard may be a bit out of the loop. So if you have not seen the

movie, you should probably remedy that before we begin. Just go and tell the family that you

need to pause their TBS marathon of Elf to do some mystery podcast research.

So, the question is whether or not diehard is a Christmas movie? Well, it takes place during

Christmas. So, yeah, right? That's all you need. I guess maybe you need some references to it being

a Christmas movie? He says, Ho, Ho, Ho. Now I have a machine gun. What the fuck else do you need?

It's a Christmas movie, people. It's the Christmas movie I wanted. So, I don't know what other people

want out of Christmas movie. You want sleigh bells, you want reindeer, you want frosty. Well,

you had some frosty characters in there. Some of them getting slayed. I don't know how much more
