Sean Diddy Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution by a jury that acquitted him of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

LA Times reporters say Combs faces up to 10 years in prison as a result of the verdict, though prosecutors expect around five.

When the jury shared their decision, the music mogul thanked them and fell to his knees.

Former Chief of Kings County Sex Trafficking Unit Lauren Hirsch says the results are a, quote, huge setback, especially in this moment when the powerful have continuously operated with impunity.

Nima Rahami, a former federal prosecutor, says the government's sex trafficking charges were weak

and that they made a mistake by not pursuing rape and kidnapping charges. It's a huge moment in the

conversation about power, justice, and accountability in high-profile cases.

According to a new poll, Kamala Harris is a favorite in the California governor's race, if she runs.

Seema-Meda reports that 41% of people in a UC Irvine poll picked Harris as California's next leader,

giving her the highest popularity rating, with 29% saying they'd support an unnamed Republican candidate.

UCI Dean John Gould says the path to governor for Harris seems well paved

and adds that people are more familiar with her compared to other candidates. Harris's

representatives did not comment, but she is expected to make a decision by the end of this summer.

Since losing the presidential election last November, Harris has made few public appearances,

the most recent being the funeral for former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman.

Voting will take place during the primary election in June 26.

Jane Fonda, Cynthia Nixon, Sally Field, and other celebrities want Amazon to address allegations about a lack of accommodations for their pregnant warehouse workers.

In her reporting, Caitlin Huamani says they sent a letter to the chair of Amazon's leadership development and compensation committee,

arguing that the company is violating the law by forcing their pregnant employees to work quickly.
