And today it comes from a man who walked away from a $50 million comedy central deal

because he felt that the culture had gone wrong.

He ended up going to Africa to think, came back, and he's been saying some uncomfortable,

honest things ever since. We're talking about Dave Chappelle. He recently sat down for an

interview, and he was asked if he thought Donald Trump was funny. And this is his answer.

People think the president's funny.

I've had people say this to me. Like I've interviewed people to say, well, what do you like about him?

They've said, well, what do you think he's funny?

Maybe if he wasn't president, I think that was funny.

Or maybe at times, I mean, I do think, you know, that's wearing thin.

There are funny things about him.

Like, if I were to talk about him, I could, it would be funny.

But I think what he does is so consequential.

And so much of these things, you know, in my lifetime, I've never really seen anything,

a phenomenon quite like them.

I'm not trying to be political, but it's remarkable.

I don't know.

I don't know how funny it is.
