Hi friends, it's a beautiful morning here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I'm out for a nice long walk.

0:07.5

I'm having any particular goal in mind. I'm going to get back to the house. I'll check and see how many steps I got, how many miles I walk.

0:14.4

That's not all I'm going to be looking at because my Fitbit, your Fitbit, actually does so much more than simply count steps and convert them into distance.

And these features are powerful.

0:27.4

They can really change your health today and in the future.

1:36.4

hours, not days, those times when I wasn't wearing it because I either lost it, it stopped working,

1:43.7

and I immediately bought a new one

1:45.4

or I forgot to wear it. Tracking my steps taps into a strong desire I have to compete with myself

1:52.2

every day. That motivation combined with an equally strong desire to age well makes this feature

1:58.9

truly life-changing. If my Fitbit did nothing else but track steps,

2:03.8

I'd still wear it all the time. But it does so much more. Heart rate. This is my second

2:10.3

favorite Fitbit feature. While it's not as accurate as a chest strap heart rate monitor,

2:15.6

it's pretty darn close. The goal of cardio exercise, like walking,
