Good morning and welcome to Bonjino Report Early Edition. Today I am joined by a very exciting guest,

Emily Jusinski, unheard's DC correspondent, host of the Undercurrents podcast,

and co-host of the CounterPoints podcast. She's a very busy lady. Emily, thank you for being here.

Alveda, thank you for having me and congratulations on all the success over here.

Okay, now, Emily, before I jump into all the topics we have today, because I want everybody

to know that you and I used to work together. Before you're at Unheard, before I worked for Dan Bonjino,

we were writers at the Federalist. And actually, when I started out as an intern in college,

Emily was the intern manager, coordinator. What would you say your title was, Emily? The czar. I mean,

the intern czar. And I was definitely the best intern. Is that true? Oh, you're putting me on the spot.

Yes, of course. Okay. So Emily, I feel like you and I, by force, but also it's a good thing,

have been on the same beat for years now, working at the

Federalist. And that is just how bad the establishment media is at their jobs. I mean,

Molly Hemingway, Sean Davis at the Federalist, everyone had this goal of exposing the propaganda

press. That was really the Federalist mission. And this week was huge in exposing the propaganda press. That was really the Federalist mission. And this week was huge

in exposing the propaganda press. We learned that in some cases we're dealing with actual

paid propaganda from the government. Politico, for instance, has been receiving USAID funds,

so taxpayer dollars to the tune of $8 million in the form of subscriptions.

And I have to wonder, I was thinking about this, there was the defund, or the who funds the

federalist scandal and all these allegations that, you know, right-wing media has all these

dark money funders. And then we realize, oh, the propaganda press, the establishment media, they're

actually funded by the government. And does the federal have to find a new mission? Do we need something

else to report on? Because you have MSNBC now laying off staff. Is this the nail in the coffin

...
