Canyon police have apprehended 33-year-old Collins Jumicei Kalusha, who has confessed to killing

42 women over the past two years.

This shocking revelation comes at a time when the country is already dealing with significant political and social unrest.

Kalusha's arrest follows the discovery of nine dismembered bodies and an abandoned quarry in an iroby shantytown.

These bodies, bound in sacks, were found in various stages of decomposition.

The discovery has horrified the nation and intensified scrutiny on the police force.

Mohammed, the director of the director of the

Directorate of Criminal Investigations, stated that Kalusha admitted to

luring, killing, and disposing of the women at the dump sites, including

his own wife.

The killing spanned from 2022 until as recently as last Thursday.

Police are currently investigating the motive behind these gruesome murders.

Kalusha is set to be arraigned in court soon.

This case has sent shock waves through Kenya, a nation already struggling with deadly protests over tax hikes and corruption.
