that I hear about the new 12-team college football playoff is, has it hurt the regular season?

The answer is hell no.

Now, I don't like how we pick or seed the teams.

That's an argument for another day, and we'll have it, because college football is entertainment.

Its main goal is to intrigue and excite you for as long as possible.

And what's more exciting than having your team be able to

stay alive in the postseason hunt for longer? What's more intriguing than knowing the games

against lesser opponents at the end of the season actually matter more. You aren't just jockeying

for a spot in the Pop-Tarts Bowl or the Duke's Mayo Bowl. You actually still have a chance to win the

whole thing.

It used to be that your season could be over by week three.

And that doesn't add excitement.

It whittles it down.

And this isn't just for the big guys either.

The smaller brands have never had more access than right now.
