Hello and welcome to the Tuesday July 3rd 2018 edition of Tesla Daily on

Maower. Today we are talking about the stock price movement yesterday,

the official delivery and production numbers for Q2, as well as the Federal

U.S. Tax Credit.

Tesla stock yesterday with a little bit of a surprising finish in the red, down 2.3% to $335.7

compared to the NASDAQ up 0.76%. Tesla had a pretty strong open but ended up finishing down about 8% from the high of the day.

I would say this was driven by three things, the first of which could potentially be model

three deliveries being below expectations for Q2.

Again, deliveries, not production,

which we'll talk about that in a second.

Number two, the skepticism around the repeatability

or the sustainability of the 5,000 per week

model three production rate.

We'll come back to that in a second as well.

And then number three, there's a pretty reasonable theory on the Tesla Motors Club

investor forum that there was a concerted effort to make Tesla close in the red

to influence the news cycle around

this important event for Tesla to be negative rather than positive.
