and on today's podcast we talk about Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland from A.W. All Out in Chicago.

This is the busted open podcast. Another A-W pay-per-view and another

sensational night for All- Elite Wrestling. There's so much to talk about it. Here's the thing what's so interesting about this show or any AEW pay-per-view. There's going to be great and then there's going to be, oh my God, how did that happen? Or oh my God, why did that happen? And actually that is really the byproduct of having a

promotion. Everything cannot be aces. A lot of the stuff can be aces but there's also

some stuff that you'll see you say I can't believe that happened why did that happen

kind of like the lights out match that took place between

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. When I think about lights out I think about the school, and we saw a little bit of this last night, Justin, which the promotion has nothing to do with it. They said the show was over when we saw Danielson against a scapegoat. That was the end of the card. This match is not sanctioned by

A. W. Whatever happens happens, completely unsanctioned. The old school is you turn the lights out, turn the lights back on, and now whatever happens,

and what we saw is something completely brutal, completely malicious, and it was some things that I thought I saw that I was like,

wow, it was a surprise.

And again, wrestling is about a surprise, but this match gave us some things and some avenues that I didn't think we'd ever see in a match in A. W.

Yeah, I mean, first off, I do like the, um, I like the attempt to sell the lights out factor for everything from the actual as you said

lights going out lights back on the ring announcers instructions I even believe if I'm not mistaken

the referee actually didn't have an AEW hatch on his

referee shirt. I think they were he removed that so all little nice touches to sell the

the rogue underground nature that this is supposed to be of what happened in this match so I liked all that

Yeah of what I'm happening in this match. So I liked all that.

Yeah, this match had me just, I'm shaking my head every which direction.

I'm doing double takes of what I'm seeing I cringed the winced a few times.

I think for me just bold picture before we go down the rabbit hole.
