We started off with Red Sox, and I still think that to me, just the way they have responded to that trade deadline, is striking. Who do you blame, Murray? Do you blame Heim Bloom more or John Henry Moore? I ultimately blame ownership because, you know, again, for a team that's so PR conscious, and if they've dipped here, you know, the Red Sox consciousness, I think, is especially with a casual fan has dipped over the last couple of years, you now have this team playing with house money. You have a legitimate shot to, you know, go in a deep run, maybe we're in the World Series, and they've done this before. They know what it takes to invest in this team, and I think that they ultimately kind of handcuffed Hyam Bloom here. I know he's in a position where he, you know, he's the chief baseball officer and he ultimately has final say.

No, he doesn't.

Like, they make it seem like he does. But ultimately, you know, if they wanted to push him, if they wanted to push for someone like Max Scherzer, like we heard from Jim Bowden late last week, they could still do that. They did do that with someone. when Dave Dombrovsky was here, again, it was like, here's the checkbook. It's opened up. Go sign someone like David Price. Go make big moves. And it paid off on that one world series in 2018 and great. And I know they had to pay the price there in recent years. But if they really wanted to push, it's ultimately on ownership. Bloom was handcuffed here. And I think most GMs are.

I think when it comes to whether you're a tax team or not,

that is a broad organizational direction that is set by ownership.

I don't know many, any GM that would be able to tell an owner

what he can pay for his baseball day.
