the US.

We don't know his name, we don't have a picture, there are very few clues.

He is one of a new breed of murderer, a serial killer, a stranger who kills strangers. His victims

almost always women, chosen by chance, murdered without motive, their bodies discarded, some

never to be found. I think that for most people, one of the first of these that everybody knew

about was a guy named Ted.
