to two sources familiar with the matter. Now, the piece here, this does not appear to be confirmed

by CENTCOM, but Captain Tim Hawkins, a spokesperson for U.S. Central Command, said the fifth generation

stealth fighter was flying a combat mission over Iran when it was forced to make an emergency landing.

Hawkins said the aircraft landed safely and the incident is under investigation.

Now, the interesting piece here, so in that sentence from Captain Hawkins doesn't acknowledge

that the F-35 was actually hit by fire over Iran. However, this next piece, the aircraft landed

safely and the pilot is in stable

condition, which is an odd thing to say, even like an emergency landing, because it is not uncommon

to have an emergency in a fighter aircraft, but to mention that the pilot is in stable condition,

maybe give some credibility to the fact that this is not just your typical emergency of why this

F-35 is diverting and landing it a random base in the Middle East. Now, I'll point out this video.

This has been circulated on social media claiming that this is the F-35 that's been shot down.

I think this is an AI video. I could be wrong, but just looking at it, one, if that was actually

the missile impact of an F-35,

that F-35 would not be safely making it back to a base if it was operating over Iran.
