America. America is the greatest country in the world.

Welcome to our special politics by faith America's legal immigration crisis.

You heard that right.

Legal.

For really my entire life, conservatives would say, well, I'm for legal immigration.

I'm against illegal immigration.

But don't worry, I'm for the legal kind.

I love the legal kind.

And I'm not sure if that was because conservatives actually were for legal immigration, or if it was a form of like moral cover like

i'm a good person i'm not an evil monster i i'm against illegal but i i love legal immigration

i believe it's time we reconsider how much we are even for legal immigration in America.

Oh, but Slater, we're a nation of immigrants. We're not a nation of immigrants. We almost never

allowed immigrants into America, certainly not in mass like we've been doing. And even like

about my been doing, I'm saying it's not like less 20, 30, even 40 years.

Let me prove all these points. First, there is a big difference between a nation of immigrants,

which is what everyone says we always are, and a nation founded by pilgrims and colonists

and explorers and pioneers.

If we were immigrants,

if you want to say we were immigrants,

like the pilgrims were immigrants,
