the Hebrew series were in Hebrew chapter one versus one through four but we're going to be digging into in detail

Andy Stanley and his teaching on unhitching from the old testament I think it's worth it to play actual clips of his teaching and it very much relates to what's going on in Hebrews here.

So it's a first by verse teaching that will also be dealing with some topical things that are going on.

All right. One commentary says that Hebrews chapter one

is quote, less an introduction than a thunderous opening salvo

and it really starts strong, know like you've got say Matthew

which starts a lot more mellow Luke starts a lot more mellow not so the book of

Hebrew who it just like comes out with a giant punch about who Jesus is and deep theology, like theology

that's compacted and compressed, it's like a zip file of theology that you'll then

unpack as you go through the rest of

Hebrews. So we're sort of looking at this compact, if you guys know what that is, a

zip file, a compressed file of data and information about Jesus. Let's just read the passage and I will also deal with Andy Stanley and his unhitching from the Old Testament teaching and if we have time today depending on how long ago I may jump into the wisdom of Solomon and why Hebrews is quoting an apocryphal book and is that implying Jesus was a created being.

We'll get into that sort of stuff as well, some deep things today.
