to discuss the burning question. I know it's been burning a hole in your mind. Is it

licit to convince non-Christians of the Christian faith, non-Catholics of the Catholic faith?

Joe Boka, thanks for joining me today to plumb the depths of this labyrinthine question.

I'm being sarcastic.

How are you, my friend?

I'm doing quite well.

I'm always happy to be on your show.

I'm always happy when you're on my show, meaning I'm happy right now.

And look, man, this is a, I guess, debate that

shouldn't even be a debate. What happened is in the now infamous debate between Jeff Casman and

Peter Diamond on Matt Frad three to four weeks ago.

Diamond made some comments that were really devastating about the Pope as against the

Pope's planers.

And two or three of them were about Francis's repeated, well-established stance, stance that it is not listed to convince

them, non-Christians, of your faith. Praslitism is the strongest venom against the ecumenical

path. He quoted this directly. And Francis, I'm going to play you, you perish orific in some

retrogrades, a couple of quotes. And Trent Horn and Michael Lofton,

in a kind of follow-up video they did to the castman Diamond debate, said that, quote,

well, I think I'm quoting it right. This is a misrepresentation. The question is Joe Boka.

How is directly quoting someone a misrepresentation? The answer is it's not. So, yeah, so that here's the, here's the problem.

And just like you said, it's a debate that that shouldn't be had. That's the problem is, well, as I'm going to say to you now is Pope Francis just said that it's illicit to convince people of Catholicism. That goes against the entire reason that the church exists.
