Evan and Tiki on the fan the other day in response to another Yankee loss, I really thought

that if the Yankees wanted to spark this team, they'd fire the manager.

I never thought they would fire the manager?

Yeah.

But I understand why it would make a lot of sense.

And as I'm watching Yankees Rangers on a Wednesday afternoon, dueling afternoon baseball games,

it felt like a game. And I'll never get to be proven right about this,, it felt like a game.

And I'll never get to be proven right about this, but it felt like a game that if they lost,

I could see us sitting here on a Thursday afternoon talking about boom being fired.

Yeah.

Now, we never got that answer because credit to the Yankees, they won this game.

But I want to take you back specifically to the

ninth inning, because I'm going to raise my hand to be honest. When Aaron Boone went out to talk to David Bednar after he put back to back guys on base with this little slim lead and he's now thrown a million pitches, I thought you got to take him out. You got to take him out. To me, it's a no-brainer.

He's not used to throwing this many pitches. I was going back into his history. How often has he ever thrown this many pitches? 42? For a closer. Now, he's gotten four and five out saves, but how many times is he thrown that many pitches? And, you know, you witness the bottom of the ninth inning in which he gives up the walk.

I know they were all close,

but he still walks Corey Seeger.

the hell out of it.

Because I think it was the wrong move, but it worked.
