So one is about the pass-wrest of versatility.

0:40.9

Another one's going to be about three things that kind of really jumped out to me

0:43.9

from the owners' meetings with the commanders' officials.

0:47.0

But anyways, today I'm just going to talk for a few minutes about did Adam Peters tip his

0:52.2

hand because that seems to be the storyline coming out of Arizona,

0:55.7

or at least from fans, speculation, speculation by anybody, right? Because what he did is he went

1:02.4

on the Kay Adams show and he gushed about Ohio State linebacker Sonny Stiles. Is this an example

1:08.2

of tipping your hand of where they're going to go? So I'm going to get into, first of all, I want to give you the quote that he said. And it's a very good quote on Sonny Stiles, who is a very good player. So his quote, and if you're watching on YouTube, you can, I'm going to put the quote up here, but he said,

2:03.4

Peters told Adams, he's an impressive kid, he's outstanding. I mean, we went to their pro day last week and they have four guys that are probably going to be picked in the top 10. That place is a factory and they've got great coaches and the players are really well coached and they're really good. Sunny fits in that category. He's big, he's long, he's fast, he's athletic. He's really smart. He's a great leader. So, yeah, he's a really good player. Then he also talked about intelligence. He gets those guys lined up. All the players in the team revere him. They talk about his leadership, his ability, his football IQ. The coaches do. If you talk to anybody there, he's going to be a team captain for 10 years. And that's the end of the quote. So a couple of things.

2:01.5

You know I'm an Ohio State guy because I watch him play. So one of the couple things that jumped out of me about styles. And I mean, get to, is this an example of tipping your hand? But a couple of things on styles is that he was really good, obviously, and he didn't miss a lot of tackles.

2:23.0

I think last year it was one in the first, no, he didn't miss any during the regular season.

2:24.9

So that was highly impressive.

2:27.5

And this is a team that missed a lot of tackles last year.

2:30.4

And so he obviously would be a big help.

2:32.6

So there's naturally why you'd like him. But the other thing that I think really jumps out at him about him is the leap he took from year one to year two at the position. Because he started off at Ohio State as a safety. And he didn't put the same instincts. He was good, but he's inconsistent. Last year, he was really good the whole year. And so it's natural that teams would like him. And when you watch him, I remember going at the

2:52.5

Combine, listening to him and like, oh my gosh, he's way more impressive than I realize in that

2:57.8

regard as a communicator and all that. If you're playing the Mike Linebacker, which is what he would do,

3:02.7

then you have to have that ability. So yes, like the fact that they like them, there's zero surprise. In fact, I'm going to tell you, like Dan Quinn told me how much he liked him when I talked to him at the combine myself. And I had a little one-on-one with Quinn. And, you know, he talked, one of the things he talked about the, about the versatility of him being an on the ball,
