Well, hello, this is Tom Vassal.

And welcome to Musingson Number 4. In this Musingson I'm going to actually

depart from my typical format, although after four episodes saying that I have any

kind of typical format would be kind of misleading I suppose. But what I'm going to be

doing today is talking about origins

discussing the origins game fair and some of my experiences and such with that and

just kind of give people an update. This will be my fifth origins

that I'm going to and to say that I'm an expert for having been to four of them would be really

again misleading but at least I can tell you a lot about my experiences.

Now this is your first time listening to the show or you come on board and I have to say that

everything I'm going to be talking about origins is from the perspective of a board

gamer who is interested in other games but certainly not really as keen on role playing in miniatures and collectible card games, although they are certainly a big part of origins. I find them

interesting. I'd like to look at them and maybe kind of check them out a little bit, but I go to origins

mostly because of board gaming. And so that's what I'll be talking about in today's show. So let's get
