Let's start with, let's do a little baseball because free agency is here.

And, Sal, let's go with you, okay? Now, I'm going to just throw a little bit out there. Jeff Passen put out a list of 21 teams and 21 players where they're going to wind up. So this is why some of the players I'm going to give you right now, very specific on what going off of what Jeff Passen thinks. Okay. All right. Ballface lie, ball face truth.

Edwin Diaz will be back with the Mets in 2026. Yeah, I think it's a ball face truth. I don't see that the Mets let him walk. Now, you could get into whether or not you, how much you would pay him. I would not pay a close or big money. I can understand that when you have an owner that is rich, what's the difference between 70 million and 100 million?

Does it really matter over the course of another five years? So I would say he, a bold-faced truth, he's going to get paid and he will remain the New York Mets closer. Yeah, I mean, I can really go either way here. I'm going to go a bull-faced lie, though because I think there's going to be a lot of teams knocking down his door, and I think, and rightfully so. I mean, he's still very, very good. I wouldn't give him five years. I wouldn't give any relief pitcher five years or even necessarily four at this point. But he's proven he can handle this market. That goes without saying. I just think that the Mets have so much other stuff to address. I mean, we talk about this all the time.

I mean, really five of their everyday positions, maybe even six, are up for question, depending upon what Pete does. So I'm going to say that he's gone. I'm going to say somebody's going to knock his socks off and Stearns will pivot, probably smartly, and move on from Devin Williams. Pardon, move on from Edwin Diaz.
