And finally, I think things like at work at work started getting worse and then it was spreading

on the news more and then I was like, okay, yeah, like I have this opportunity to go help,

try to make a difference in this situation.

I have skills that are, I'm not using right now.

You know, my shifts were getting canceled.

in this situation and, you know, we don't have kids. There's nothing that says I can't go. So I asked

for a leave of absence from work and they were pretty receptive to it. And I got offered a

position in the next week I was leaving to Massachusetts.

Hello, hello, hello. Happy Tuesday, everyone. I'm so happy to have you here with me.

So looking back on this whole podcast situation, so we launched this particular podcast on March 3rd, 3, 2020 this year. And shortly thereafter, we hit a pandemic.

And I was really honestly thinking at the time, we should take a minute and, you know, really

kind of take a pause during the pandemic, especially given the fact

that this is a healthcare podcast. However, we moved forward, right? And we charged forward,

and I'm actually very glad that we did because I have brought on so many amazing people

and amplified voices, and we've had so many amazing resources for all of you and today is something that has

led up to this moment this is actually this is the first part of a series that I have been wanting

to do for a while so today I'm going to bring on a COVID frontline provider. This is a nurse, an amazing

NICU nurse, a dear friend of mine, a colleague turned COVID frontline provider. And today we're

really going to deep dive into a unique perspective of the medical world.

And this is actually the first part of a three, possibly four-part series.
