Good morning. Dwayne here at Tack Room Bible Talk.

We're going to try to sit outside today. We had to come around on the side of the house.

Something about the direction this house sits, the wind is always coming down the valley and it comes right across the front porch.

So we had just sat down, got the camera set up and everything, and the wind came up,

blew the pages of the Bible, and so we're going to come around here. It's not quite as

picturesque, but we'll get the job done. We're going to read this morning in Matthew

Chapter 18. We're going to read this morning in Matthew chapter 18.

We're going to read in Matthew chapter 18, and we're going to start in verse 23.

Okay?

Matthew 1823, therefore is the kingdom of heaven, likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him 10,000 talents.

But for as much as he had not to pay, his Lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and his children and all that he had and payment to be made.

So he had a servant that owed him so much money and he couldn't pay it.

The king command is sell him into slavery, sell his wife into slavery, sell all his children into slavery, take the money you get from selling him and give it to me to pay his debt.

The servant therefore fell down and worshipped him saying, Lord, have patience with me, I will pay the all.

Then the Lord of that servant was moved with compassion and loosed him and forgave him

the dead. He didn't just say, okay, I'll give you another five years. I'll drop the interest.

I'll do this. He forgave it all. It's gone. It's done. You did not have the amount to pay it.

You cannot pay it. You'll never be able to pay it. So I forgive it.

Now, this on a side note, this is not what we're talking about this morning.

But imagine how angry that king would be, how foolish that servant would look.

If he showed up at the throne room for the king in a couple of years and offered him
