Hi guys, welcome back to Skincare Anarchy. This is your host, Ekta. And I am super excited

0:08.4

about today's guest because this is one of my favorite makeup lines, if not the favorite.

0:13.4

So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Diana Ruth, who is the co-founder

0:17.2

for Milk Makeup. Welcome Diana. I'm so excited to be here. Thank you so much for having

0:24.5

me. I'm so excited. Oh, it's truly my honor and I can't wait to learn everything about

0:29.7

the brand, but I really want to start off with your journey in beauty and just how you came

0:34.6

to this the whole process. Sure. So I always love products since I remember, I think my

0:42.9

earliest memory is age seven and my dream was to be a manicurist because I just wanted the

1:30.3

parts of fashion was what excited me. So it wasn't the clothing. I'm not like a fashion

1:37.2

you know person. So, but I like the kind of nitty-gritty behind the scenes. And then I learned about

1:44.9

there was a major at FIT called cosmetics and fragrance. It was formulations and marketing.

1:51.3

That was a title at the time. And it was I was like the second class that ever existed

1:57.2

at FIT. So I applied to be in that program. And that's really where I really would say I fell in love

2:05.7

with beauty cosmetics. That major was formulations, packaging, displays, marketing like every aspect

2:16.8

of this industry in a college program. And it was just it was amazing. It was a very small class.

2:23.6

It was 13 girls. All girls. All girls at the time. We were the second class. And it was amazing.
