Hello and welcome to Sky Talkers. I'm your host Charlotte. Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin,

and welcome to this episode of Sky Talkers, where we are bringing you a roundtable interview

with the stars of Tales of the Empire, Meredith Salinger, who plays Barris Offie, and then

Diana Lee and Asanto, who of course

plays Morgan Elspeth.

And these were so great.

I'm so excited for you guys to hear these interviews.

These two women were so incredible to talk to.

And I feel so lucky that we were able to talk to them because, like, have we ever heard

from Meredith, really, about Barris? And, of course,

like, during the Asoka press, there wasn't any Asoka press due to the writers and actors

strike last year. So we didn't really get to hear a lot from Diana at that time either. So

to be able to hear from both of them about these characters was so incredible.

And like Meredith has been in the Star Wars world for over a decade now.

And Diana, you know, is very recently in Asoka and now Tales of the Empire.

So just the perfect people to talk to and so, so interesting to hear their answers to these questions.

Totally. And they know their stuff. Oh, yeah. It is really cool. Oh, yeah. It's really cool. Specifically, Diana mentioned a lot of things that, like, are music to Skytalkers' ears, like Bug E.N. Convary's short story about Night Sisters. Hello. She used that as reading material. I just I can't even get over it. If you're curious and you don't know that story, definitely look it up and

find a copy of it. It's insane. But also we interviewed Ian Comvary on the show literally years ago,

and it's maybe one of our favorite interviews, maybe if not the favorite interview we've ever done.

And then also, both of them talked about how involved Dave Faloni was in the booth with them

and talking them through a lot of the themes, which is actually pretty surprising to me,
