Summary

Episode 119 Diana Engstrom

In July, 2020, a deadly fire broke out at an apartment complex in Reno, NV during the early morning hours. The fire displaced several residents, and as a result, many of them lost their belongings and their pets. Several people were injured, and unfortuatelly, two people were killed; 51 year old Diana Engstrom, and 70 year old Katherine White.

The deadly fire devastated the community, but when it was determined that the fire had been set deliberately, people were shocked. 31 year-old Brian Bandy was taken into custody and faced several criminal charges including multiple counts of murder.

Diana's daughter Nancy discusses the tragic events that robbed her of time with her beloved mother, and she also delves into the grief and recovery process in the aftermath of the fire.
