Will Heflin after Tennessee baseball sweeps Mississippi State over the weekend in Starkville,

Mississippi State, the number nine team in the country.

And you would have thought Tennessee was the number nine team in the country

if you watched the two teams play at duty noble field over the weekend because Tennessee

was flat out dominant over the weekend by far their best weekend of the season mr.

Heflin we started from the bottom and now we're here much uh much better than the podcast we were recording this time a week ago.

Yeah.

Things can change quickly in this sweet, sweet, beautiful game of baseball.

And boy, did they change in a hurry.

I just, I still don't that that's not the

weekend where I thought oh okay it will just turn it on on its on its head and play all

all phases except base running I guess but what's new there um one and the weird part about

the base running thing is the base running has been pretty good all year long they finally get

maybe maybe it took them doing some dumb things on the bases to get get back in the wind column

i guess so.

At the dude, I know we caught Mississippi State at the perfect time.

We can admit that.

It doesn't take away from what Tennessee did as far as trajectory of their season,

standings, RPI, postseason positioning, morale of the team,

confidence, belief, growth, all those warm and fuzzy's been.
