Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the hump day addition of the yard. It's been a busy day.

It has been. We had to break some news today. A lot going on. We'll get into that a little bit later in the show. But yeah, it's been busy.

And I got to get up early, early, early in the morning to head to Como and we're going to

spend much of our first segment talking about the Tigers I interviewed coach

Carrick Jackson earlier today if you're a jeans page member and you certainly should

be you can go over there and read what he had to say in its entirety I do have a couple things to pull out that I'll share with you in our

preview but yeah I like Karen Jackson you know he was of course at Southern

University I've got some connections to that program did years ago and Roger

Kedor was there and so we had a chance to talk a little bit about Roger and kind of

what he's up to and how he's still around the program,

not coaching, just kind of helping out on the fundraising side.

But nevertheless, I want to say, too, it's super cool too.

That's one thing this year I wanted to add some more in-depth coverage.

There's so much big room stuff and so much that gets watered down because everybody's using the same quotes.

I just wanted to have something unique for our readers to get some insight about our opponents.

So we started doing that. I'm going to continue to do it, of course, Coach Jackson, the last of the coaches until we get into the postseason.

And then, of course, those media sessions are a little more structured by the NCAA.

Things will be a little bit different.

But all of that I understood.

It's been great.

I appreciate these coaches making time for me.

Had to use some connections and relationships at times to get people on the phone.
