I wanted to comment a little bit about

Five verses in Surat al-Shu'arah

Surat al-Shu'arah deals with many different prophets and the verse I chose is one of the ones we recite a lot in the Salam

It's the one that Ibrahim alaihi s-salam is

Dialogging with his people and

He says that all of these gods that you worship I have nothing to do with them except I want to worship

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and then the famous five verses

Allady khalakani fa huwa yahdeen

Walladyyut i'moni wa yashteen wa aida maritufa huwa yasfin

Walladyyumi tunithum wa yuhim

Wallady atma'u anya'fulalli khatiyati yomaddeen

So insha'Allah, let's talk a little bit about these five beautiful verses in Surat al-Shu'arah

Wanted to just start off by stating that Ibrahim alaihi s-salam at this stage is a young teenager and

Scholars have differed when did the Rizala or the Wahe begin

But it is very likely when this conversation is taking place. He is not yet a prophet

So he is engaging in this conversation and Jibril has not yet visited him

He does not have direct connection

Through Jibril with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

He is speaking as a thinking rational young child
