I'm your host, Catholic Answers Apologist and Speaker, Trent Horn.

In today's episode, I want to share with you a dialogue I had with an atheist YouTuber

named Godless Engineer.

His real name is John Gleason, but Gleason has YouTube channel called Godless Engineer.

He offers a variety of videos defending atheism, defending mythicism, which is the view

that Jesus never existed.

But that's not what I actually dialogue with him about.

He invited me onto his channel to dialogue about the historical reliability of the gospel

of Luke.

And I was really excited to do this because biblical apologetics is something I haven't

addressed in a while here on the podcast.

So we've done a lot on things like atheism, the existence of God.

I had that great debate with Ben Watkins.

I've covered moral issues, Catholic Protestant issues, but I really enjoy talking about scripture.

It's why I wrote an entire book on the subject called Hard Sangs, a Catholic approach to answering

Bible difficulties.

So I haven't done biblical apologetics in a while, and I haven't done a dialogue or a debate

about it in a while.

So it was really fun to sit down with John and have this dialogue.

He's a really nice guy, and we were able to have a really civil conversation because above
