| 0:49.9 | And for this final reflection you chose chapter five. |
| 0:53.1 | And I'm just wondering what was it about that chapter? |
| 0:56.6 | Yes, I chose it because it's an example of how all these mystics really understood |
| 1:05.3 | creation as an ongoing act of God, in which God is present, |
| 1:11.5 | intimately present, in each passing moment of our life and our breath, |
| 1:15.6 | the darkness of the night, stones and trees and stars, the smell of flowers, |
| 1:21.9 | and that it's our astrangement from that. |
| 1:25.2 | It causes our fear and our confusion. |
| 1:28.0 | And as through love we can be restored to God's mysterious oneness with us in life itself, |
| 1:35.3 | as a consoling and contemplative way to live in the world. |
