Summary

0:05.2	prophecies regarding John the Baptist, the character of John the Baptist, and the message of
0:09.9	John the Baptist, which was one of repentance. Remember the gospel writer's purpose and all that
0:15.4	we're going to read is to prove and convince readers and listeners that Jesus is the son of God and that in believing these truths
0:23.5	that you would have life in his name. Today we're going to pick up where we left off and that's
0:28.3	going to be in John chapter 1 versus 38 through 51. Let's dial on.
0:43.1	John chapter 1 verses 38 through 51 Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, what are you seeking?
0:47.8	And they said to him, rabbi, which means teacher, where are you staying?
0:51.7	He said to them, come and you will see.
0:54.0	So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.
0:59.6	One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
1:04.8	He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, we have found the Messiah, which means Christ.
