And yes, I do still call it Armistice Day for a variety of reasons I won't get into here.

But I decided to do something I've been meaning to do literally for, you know, several years at this point,

which is to make a sequel to an episode I did all the way back in late 2019, sorry, late 2016,

almost a decade ago, that was titled CJ's favorite 25 anti-war songs.

So even though I called those my 25 favorite anti-war songs,

I still had a bunch of songs that hadn't quite made the cut for that episode.

Which, by the way, that episode got really good feedback at the time,

but, you know, my audience is a lot bigger now than it was back in 2016. But there were a number of songs that didn't make that list for one reason or another,

and I did agonize when trimming that original episodes list, this episode you're going to

listen to in a moment, down to 25. So some of the songs that I'm going to get into in my new

25 favorite anti-war songs episode

coming out soon are ones that didn't make the cut last time, but it was, you know, really close.

And they could have just as easily been on that list from nine years ago as the new one I'm

going to be putting out soon. And then there were a number of songs that, like, I just didn't know about.

And, you know, every time I stumbled into a new cool anti-war song of some sort or another that I

hadn't heard before, I would jot down a little note, you know. And basically, I was building

for what I'm going to be doing soon. So I decided to put out this reissue that you're listening to now

of the original Dangerous History Podcast episode 130 from 2016, because probably most of my current

audience has never heard this episode. So it's going to be reissued for a while in all the feeds,

including the public ones,
