So, today on the podcast we have two stories, each of them rather long and involved.

First, we take a look at upcoming studio releases, particularly how Disney appears to be

rethinking how and which classic animated features it remakes into live action.

And the good news here is that it looks like Disney's strategies are improving in terms of

what it's green lighting and what it's canceling.

And second, now that America is 10 weeks into the conflict with Iran, we look at how the economic fallout is affecting

the American resorts and what it might mean for the months ahead and also for some proposed

expansion areas. That is, we have two chunky stories this week, but before we get to all that, I need to thank another

Let's start today with some movie-related news and also a discussion about how Disney's approach to live-action remakes appears to have changed a wee bit in the past few months.

So at the end of last year, when new tangled elements started to show up at the American

theme parks, such as Rapunzel's Tower at Disneyland as part of a small expansion to storybook

land, we here figured that this was likely a sign that the Disney company, with its ongoing

emphasis on Synergy, was quietly putting the live-action version of Tangled back into production.
