So, we've had an unusual month.

Our podcast is usually split between stories related to the history of the Disney company

and news and analysis about the company today.

This month, however, we've had some large stories drop.

Last week, we spent an entire episode looking at the lovely design, the opening,

and various problems associated

with Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Florida. The week before that, we explored the ins and outs

of Lightning Lane Multipass, which is the replacement for a Jeannie Plus, which is itself a

ride reservation system that is only two and a half years old.

And today we're going to round out our monthly news stories with a look at Disney's Future at the box office and with its streamer,

the new drone show at Disney Springs in Florida, a set of changes and openings for Epcot,

and a few other news items related to Disneyland.

But just so no one here forgets, we are still a podcast with a strong focus on the history

of the Disney Company. Next week, assuming all goes as planned, I'll have an episode focused on

some unique stories related to the early years of

the Disney Company. And beyond that, even though most episodes here this month so far have focused

on current-day Disney, during these same weeks, I've also interviewed people on their work

with Disney 50 and 60 years ago, and perhaps more importantly,

I've gone through letters and documents recently found related to a key artist who worked with

Walt decades ago. I do think that this is the very first time that we've done three consecutive

news-related episodes in a row,

and this now is just a short way to say that next week we'll be back on our history kick with a few new stories, that Disneyland tour from the 1960s that famously went wrong,
