Again, my name's Sean Coleman. You can find me at Stats ACC. You get a bit under the weather,

just as weather change in March always gets me. But hey, when it comes to the Braves opening day,

nothing can keep you down, especially when the Braves play like they did on Friday.

When it comes to the Braves, here's the latest from Philadelphia.

So the Braves come into opening day, starting off their 2024 season, unfortunately where the

2023 season ended. And for much of the game, for the first six innings, it looked like, you know,

many times that we had seen the Braves offense struggle over the past two post seasons in Philadelphia.

But lo and behold, when that seventh inning came around, the Braves basically just came to life.

They basically reintroduced themselves to the Philly crowd and just reminded everyone just what they were capable of, a nine-run inning to be able to take a nine-to-two lead that they would eventually finish off with a nine-to-three victory over Philadelphia.

And listen, I know that you can write the script many different ways, but this was a pretty fulfilling script.

It was an awesome route that the Braves took to be able to win this game.

Listen, you would love for them to dominate from the beginning.

As good as they were last year in first innings.

They looked like they were going to do it again in the first inning against Wheeler,

but a couple of great plays by the Phillies kept the Braves from being able to score.

They had another run scoring opportunity. I believe it was in the fourth, the top of the fourth or the top of the fifth.

Unfortunately, they couldn't connect on a base hit to get a run to score. And then, of course,
