but he actually said something interesting yesterday, and I wanted to bring up to you.

But here is what he said that was interesting.

He said, quote,

Dexter Lawrence, nobody respects you anymore.

Nobody.

Your opponents do not. The pre-injury dexter is not in their heads they don't respect you

and there's a difference you're on the field they're blocking you with a backup center you're not

making a difference the old dexter would there are a lot of things that go into your performance

only you know what that is.

Whether you're still recovering or not, I'm just telling you, I'm looking at enough tape to know that your opponents don't respect you, not like they used to.

Yeah, well, we were talking, you know, this year about how he doesn't feel like the same player. I mean, I didn't go that far, but that's certainly a pointed criticism. I'm sure what he's trying to do is rev the engines on Dexter Lawrence because he wants to see him play well. He wants to see the Giants defense play better. But what he's seeing is a league that used to prepare for him and and fear him and now saying, all right,

well, the guy's not playing at the same level he used to. So now we've got to focus on other

guys. He's supposed to be a Warren Sapp, Aaron Donald type of guy. And he was a game record,
