Because yesterday we taped the episode. Our Tuesday episode is taped on Monday afternoon.

It's our one show that we don't do live. And, of course, when we got done Monday afternoon,

some big news broke. And of course, it's one of my favorite teams. So it's the G man and sexy Dexie Dexter Lawrence and some of the news about him wanting to be traded. So I just felt like, hey, we got to say something about this. And that's why I'm here before you hear the rest of the podcast where we break down honorable mentions of some of the other positions we talked about

with Connor Rogers. But the Dexter Lawrence thing I felt like needed to be talked about.

It's arguably one of the best players on the New York Giants. It's not arguably. He is one of the

best players on the Giants football team. And I understand where Dexter Lawrence is coming from

in this department. First off, I mean, Dexter Lawrence is one of the best defensive tackles in football.

I think you start there.

And it's not going to be about the stats.

That's the big thing, too.

Dexter Lawrence is a space eater.

He can be disruptive.

He's actually very good at rushing the pasture and pushing the pocket.

And he can be disruptive and bust into the backfield and do all that. But at the same time, he's a guy too that they might, a lot of teams are going to go, we have to double team them all the time, or we just want you to make a mosh pit and stop the run here. But there's still great value in that. And I think when you look at the situation and what we're talking about with Dexter Lawrence, yeah, he's severely underpaid,

you know, where he's making money right now at

21.8 million per year is $10 million below the market of Chris Jones. And I would say right now,

him or Chris Jones, who do you take? It's a close one. Okay, so just at that benefit right there, that is close. Now, to further that conversation, if you ask me who I'm taking Milton Williams or Jordan Davis or Dexter Lawrence, I'm sorry, I'm taking Dexter Lawrence. And I think those guys are damn good football players. Dexter Lawrence has been a two-time second-team all-pro, and I would argue one of those

years, he should have been first-team all-pro. So with that, yeah, he's got something to stand

on here as far as wanting more money. He definitely should be north of Zach Allen and the $25

million. He should be closer somewhere between Chris Jones and

Milton Williams. And hopefully the Giants can fix that situation. To me, this is the first
