Welcome to the Crazy Love Podcast. Do you ever read the book of Acts and get frustrated

because we don't experience that same kind of power in the church today? Well, in this

week's message, Francis Chan encourages us to believe that it's possible for us to

see what the early church saw as we devote ourselves to what they did.

It's crazy. I had a message to bring tonight and I walk in this room and I realize God

shown me the message has already happened. Like, this is what I was praying for. This is

what I was thinking. I'm going to need to rile them up. There's something to get them

to just open up and for the whole body to use their gifts. And man, I always dreamt

of being a part of a church where God would just move in supernatural ways and there would

be such a love amongst the people. A church that wasn't known for a speaker or a band,

for the power of God and for the love of God. And man, I'm just so grateful. I feel like

even our obedience from last week and some of the difficult things and just saying, you

know what, no, we're not going to allow. We're not going to allow gossip. We're not going

to allow slander. We want a spirit of unity here. And we will obey his word and warn the

divisive person, warn him again, then have nothing to do with him because that's scripture.

And to really seek him. And this week, the thing that the Lord put on my heart was we've

been reading through the book of Acts. And ever since I first became a believer in high

school, I would read the book of Acts and get frustrated because I would say, God, why

don't we get to have that now? How come this happened back then? And I was jealous of the

people who lived 2000 years ago. And I was told I was taught theologically, I was trained

to believe that that can't happen today. And yet as a kid, I was like, man, it seems

like it's supposed to. If anything, it should happen more. I mean, that was just my simple
