I woke up today with some conviction. Could be wrong. But you know in every season

there's ebbs and flows. It's hard to be up for every game. You know there's the dreaded

letdown spot. There's the sandwich game. You know where you're playing that so so opponent in between

the two toughies and the rivals that you look forward to playing every year or you know you

went on Monday night football in the nation watched and then you went on the road against my lions

and and stubbed your toe when you had no business losing to them right it's tough to maintain total

intensity to the course of a long season. And I woke up this morning and maybe it's not true

but I just have this sense that the year of no bs has kind of hit a bit of a rut. I mean I'm not

saying we're like the Philadelphia Phillies where you know we had the lead in the division by four

games then two weeks later we're behind by seven. I'm not saying it's kind of that level but it

just kind of feels like it's kind of you know the coach needs to come into the clubhouse

read us the riot act fires fire us back up it's kind of felt like it just needed a bit of a kickstart

oh it's summer you put your shorts on you know it's you can kind of just relax

for the dog days of the year no bs right yeah so I kind of just felt waking up today
