PLEASE LISTEN TO ‘SEASON 6 - EPISODE 9’ FOR PART ONE OF THIS TWO-PART CASE. Patrick Mackay was arrested in March 1975. He was suspected of murdering Isabella Griffiths, Adele Price and Father Anthony Crean. But while he was being held on remand in Brixton prison, Mackay told a fellow inmate he was locked up for murdering 11 people. He repeated this story to anyone that would listen including inquiring officers. Perhaps it was just a boastful claim. However, it was curious considering Mackay was awaiting trial for three murders.
