So there's something for you and the season that lays within your obedience.

But sometimes we don't like this where we're doing.

Because as humans, we want to be free from all limitations, boundaries, rules.

But obedience is the maturing of the Spirit, of faith.

You see, God requires obedience and behind some of our greatest fears lay our greatest gifts.

You know, this was true for me. I had to lay into what was uncomfortable to my flesh

for me to receive the fruits of my Spirit.

Even until this day, I've been struggling with being obedient, I'll be honest.

Because God has been asking me to do random things that I don't want to do.

The other day I was in a coffee shop and I see an elder, you know, a brother-man.

Really dope white beard. And for some reason, he just had an essence to him, you know.

And I felt God nudged me and say, go talk to him.

Now it was early in the morning, you know, I'm just grabbing my tea.

I wasn't feeling good. You know, my brain was scattered that morning.

And I was like, no, why would I do that? It was the reason I have nothing to talk about.

I'm not even comfortable right now. I just want to be comfortable.

But I felt that nudge again.

But I ignored it.

I sat down, waited for my drink.

And to my surprise, the elder came up to me.

And just started speaking with me.

Asked me a question on where I got my head wrapped because, oh no, I'd be having some of the best head wraps.
