0:08.1	Oh my gosh, I'm so super stoked to sound like I'm from the 80s about this episode about

0:18.0	And here's why I really feel like I know a lot about personal branding, but in my preparation
0:23.7	for this particular episode, I started really researching it and looking at, you know,
0:28.0	other experts say about personal branding and what I realized was my own brand is still
0:34.4	very much in transition.
0:36.6	More so than what I realized before I started doing the preparation for this particular

0:41.9	So I'm going to tell you, I'm going to share everything that I've learned in my research
0:45.2	and preparing for this, but I'm also going to tell you that it was extremely eye-opening

0:59.1	And in doing so, I'm like, whoa, my brand, my transition of my brand isn't really where
1:05.2	I thought it was and that our own personal perception can vary quite vastly from the
1:12.3	perception of our, quote unquote, tribe or our lifers or the people who are familiar with

1:18.7	First, I'm just going to start with the plain old Wikipedia definition of personal branding.
1:23.8	It says personal branding is the practice of people marketing themselves for their careers
1:28.7	as a brand.
1:30.4	Success comes from how we package ourself or self-packaging.
