Welcome. It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you. We are days away from a GOP

convention. I love saying this, where we're very united behind our candidate. And, Senator,

there is still a major civil war that is not stopping within the Democratic Party.

Well, that's exactly right. Utter chaos continues to rain on the Democratic side.

But we're also going to talk about the fact that Texas is recovering from Hurricane Beryl.

The state of Texas was hit by barrel two days ago.

Nearly three million Texans lost power.

There was wind damage, rain damage. You and I lived through it.

So we're going to walk through exactly what that entailed. But then we're going to turn to what's

happening nationally. We're going to turn to the question that's on everybody's lips, which is,

who is the Democrat nominee for president going to be? I continue to believe it's not Joe Biden, but the White

House is erecting the barriers and fighting tooth and nail, and they are discovering that their

worst enemy is the corporate media who is utterly and completely turned on them. We're going to break that

down. Yeah, it's really interesting. I want to tell you real quick about something, and this is important to me.

I have been a victim of gun crime, and without carrying a firearm, I would not be here today.

I had to use my firearm to protect and defend my life and the life of my best friend that was with me that day.

And I can tell you, it is so important that you be able to protect yourself. And you know, I am a staunch advocate for a God-given Second Amendment rights.
