Last episode we covered chapters 22 through 24 and Moses is still in the middle of his

Just Do It Sermon.

We're really getting off the subject.

So let me bring you back to Moses and his Just Do It Sermon.

Last episode, we were listening to him expanding on his seventh and eight

commandment. Many of them were strange to us, and that is because these were created for a

different set of people. These were created for Israel back when they were set apart from other

nations, and it was all to prevent them from being tempted to be like the Canaanites.

So it was things like wearing tassels on the four corners of your cloak and allowing Ammonite

and Moabites to enter the Assembly of the Lord.

Other laws concern offenses that dishonor a person or steal a person's dignity like rape or

human trafficking and war.
