Summary

The Detroit Lions took down the red-hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the first leg of Monday Night Football and they owe most of the credit to Jahmyr Gibbs' incredible performance and a slow start by Baker Mayfield. The Lions and Bucs are both good teams that are true contenders so there should be no hyperbole either way after this one. However, this does create chaos in the NFC North with the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Lions all with two losses or less. All three teams could end up making the playoffs in the NFC. Finally, the Denver Broncos got a rare comeback win on Sunday, but there are major concerns about the team still and their ability to hold on to the AFC West. The Baltimore Ravens will come off their bye with a healthy Lamar Jackson and at 1-5, they have no choice but to turn it on now and or risk having a lost season.
