And we are joined by Matt Derry of Lockdown Lions to break down the Lions selecting Ennis Rakestrug Jr.

For the number 61 pick, Matt, what do you think about the Lions getting the corner from Missouri?

Look, what do I think?

It's a little surprising to say the least that they spent free agency really addressing the cornerback spot,

bringing back Emmanuel Mosley trading for Carlton Davis, signing Amik Robertson, and even resigning

Kendall Vildor and others. And yet they've drafted two corners back to back in the first two rounds.

But as GM Brad Holmes said tonight moments ago, he was the highest rated

player on their board. There's no way they thought he'd be there at 61, just like last night.

There was no way they thought Terran Arnold would be there at 24. So they're taking the best

player available. It just so happens to be another cornerback. Indeed. Indeed. And what do you think

in terms of what Rayshaw brings to the table as far as his strengths,

but also where do you think, Matt, are some of the areas that he needs to improve to be

ready for this line's defense come fall?

You know, you look at the numbers and you say, wait a minute, he only had one interception

his entire career in Missouri.

Now, again, he was a shutdown guy.

He's very physical, similar to what they got in Arnold last night.
