Hey guys, welcome back to the Blair White Project. So one of the things that I have been super

consistent on with both my main channel and the podcast now is this need that I feel to highlight the stories of detransitioners. These are people that are not platformed by the corporate press in any way, shape, or form, unless it's a few times on Fox News, but that's about as far as it's going to go. And they're really important stories. I feel not only to detransitioners, it's important, obviously, for those stories we told, but as well for trans people to hear it. I have learned so much in these conversations. You guys remember, ShapeShifter was on. I've had several people on the main channel. But today, we have a Ritchie. And this is day number two, Ritchie, because we had some tactical difficulties when we filmed yesterday, and it didn't record. So, welcome back. Thanks, Blair. Thank you so much for having me back on. It's a pleasure to speak to you again. I'm glad we got a chance to re-record because, as I was saying, just before we went live there, you know, you always think back to the things you've said and you're thinking, oh God, I wish I said that differently. I said that differently. So more than happy to go again and hopefully I won't ramble as much this time. No, I loved your rambling. I learned so much from your rambling. We're going to learn even more today. So how about we start with, you and I heard it yesterday.

We're going to hear it again because it's still interesting.

Sort of the general backstory of your detransition story.

Yeah.

So at the moment, I am still detransitioning.

It is not as straightforward and long process.

There's a lot of complications, which we'll get into.

I began detransitioning, like changing my name, presenting in March, April, this year.

So it's only been about nearly six months since I came out as

D-Trans and started the detransition process. I've been on HRT since 2014. I'm still on

estrogen, but I am looking to change that and we can talk more about that later.

I only had, I had laser hair removal like everyone else kind of does, but I also had what's

often referred to as bomb surgery, but it's a penile inversion with scrotel graft.

It's quite a brutal surgery.

And that has left me with a lot of lifelong complications.
