I would say Top of May is a good place to start the story.

So we were simultaneously assisting both sets

of parents with closing on their homes. DeVow's dad came down here for Jackson's birthday in April.

And after a brief, quick conversation about, you know, finances, where are, what's next. Deval proposed the question to his dad, you know, like, why don't y'all just retire? I mean, you are retired. Why don't you just move down here to Georgia? I mean, you've been wanting to come down. Now that Deval's mom is officially retired. Why not? Like, what's stopping you? What's your plan?

So you couldn't correct me if I'm wrong, but your dad kind of looked at you, thought for a second, and was just like, you know what? We should move. It literally went just like that. We should move, yeah. And that was on like a Monday. Jackson's birthday was on a Monday. And by Friday, DeVal's dad, we affectionately call Scoop, y'all know Scoop,

Scoop myself and our good friend Curtis Lancaster, who is an amazing realtor out here.

We're looking at houses for Papapa Scoop and Nana. And I don't think your mom quite understood

what was happening. I think she was just like, all right, yeah, let's start looking at some houses.
