All right, so we had a good idea of what Rampart looks like overall.

How did you get into homicide rampart, you're a detective, but you're working robbery first. Correct. How did you get into homicide at rampart?

Well, one of my old partners from patrol made detective a few months before I did,

and he went to rampart, and he ended up at rampart homicide.

And then I came up there, and he known that I had about

four and a half, five years of homicide experience from South Bureau. And I said, yeah, I'd really

like to get back into homicide. And they didn't have an opening right at that time, but he was

talking to the to the boss about me. I had gone in and introduced myself to the boss.

And about six months after I got there, a spot opened up.

And, um, you know, the boss, Beto Chikoria asked me if I was it still interested in going?
